AMERICANS will spend $13.1 billion on BLACK FRIDAY.
Retailers keep moving their sales earlier and earlier. They realize we only have a limited amount of money – and they want to get their share before someone else does. Add in the online folks who target us with CYBER MONDAY sales our money just disappears into thin air.
The average American will spend $718 this year for Christmas presents. This is down from $761 in 2012. Black Friday is so named because retailers hope to go from unprofitable (in the red) to making a profit (in the black) all in one day.
I saw some amazing deals advertised for Black Friday. You can buy a 32″ flat screen TV (off brand) for $99. A 55″ HDTV for $444. I saw a PlayStation 4 for $199 (with two popular games). This would normally be over $500! I thought about buying it and I don’t even play video games.
Sears has amazing deals on major appliances. You can buy washers, dryers, stoves and refrigerators for 40-50% off the normal retail price. These are name brand products! One of the best deals I saw was a 29.1 cubic foot Whirlpool refrigerator (that’s HUGE) for $1600. It’s regularly $2800. That’s a massive discount by any standards – over 42%!!!
Without a doubt the best BLACK FRIDAY DEAL is available to everyone, everywhere.
You don’t have to have a major credit card or any cash at all. It’s FREE to us but COST an awful lot.
On the blackest Friday of recorded history, JESUS went to the cross. He suffered unspeakable atrocities as he was crucified on a Friday. After being mocked, scourged, beaten and stripped of His clothing and His dignity, my sins were laid on Him. He died for my sins and purchased my salvation.
Why is this the greatest BLACK FRIDAY DEAL EVER?

- Christ’s righteousness is placed on my account.
- I received a home in heaven.
- I have peace from guilt and despair.
- It’s ETERNAL. FOREVER. Unlike that refrigerator, the warranty NEVER EXPIRES. (I don’t have to pay for an extended warranty.)
- I’m given power to live a victorious life. I can enjoy Life not just endure Life.
- JESUS paid it all. 100%. IT IS FINISHED!
